Dr. Ali Kahwaji, PHD

Senior Technical & Subsurface Manager

Ali graduated in 1981 with a Petroleum & Reservoir Engineering Degree, and has since accumulated over 38 years of experience with a number of National and International Oil Companies, including SPS, Al Furat, Dove Energy, OMV, Al Waha, and most recently CCED Oman.

Ali’s wide experience covers a range of petroleum and geology disciplines, in addition to Reservoir and Subsurface Team Management. Ali’s responsibilities cover the necessary tasks and follow-up related to the daily operations of oil & gas wells, along with best management and environmental friendly techniques of hydrocarbon reservoirs. During the years, Ali provided advice and assistance to E&P divisions of the companies he worked with, and contributed in the preparation of FDPs (Field Development Plans) including financial modeling.

Ali has also built wide experience in training and providing in-house courses to company staff. In December 2019, Ali joined Petroleb Oman as Senior Technical & Subsurface Manager.

Adrian Burrows

A Geology graduate with twenty six years experience in major oil companies, eight years in managing consultancy services, and nine years as VP in Circle Oil operating oil and gas production across North Africa and Middle East.
Adrian’s early involvement was with reservoir acoustic impedance, inversion studies, and forward and reverse modeling with Amoco. He Participated in Safah discovery in Oman and Blina in Canning Basin, Australia with Occidental.
He Served as Chief Geophysicist on several continents. Adrian joined Petroleb in 2017 as Senior Technical Advisor.

Jock Macdonald Graham

Consultant - Exploration Operations & Field Development

Jock Graham is a Canadian Geoscientist with almost 40 years of extensive International oil & gas experience. Mr. Graham received his B.Sc. Honours in Geology from St. Frances Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada and began his career as a Professional Geologist with Chevron Canada in Calgary, Alberta in 1982. He has since worked in senior management positions in several companies operating in multiple jurisdictions in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.
His professional experience includes exploration and development operations, often in difficult operating environments, field and facility development, asset and company evaluation, building and running technical and operational teams, Board and Board Committee participation, all with the goals of running safe and effective operations and growing successful businesses.
Until 2016, Mr. Graham was Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer of Serinus Energy Inc. whose shares traded publically, and helped grow the company from a start-up to a solid producer of oil & gas with over 20 million barrels of 2P reserves, 6,000 boepd production and a market capitalization that exceeded C$500 million.

Mr. Graham resides in Dubai and consults on various projects in the greater MENA and East Africa regions. He is a Professional Geologist and a long-time member of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
